ISO is the film speed which refers to how sensitive the film or pixels are to light. So basically it's saying that the higher the ISO the camera pulls in more light in order to make the picture visible and the lower the ISO the less light there is in the picture. The differences between the pictures are that the first one when I used flash was that Misty was more visible but the picture looks very plain, the lights also look like they're just lights. In the ISO 50 you can barely see Misty in the dark, but the only thing that you can really see are the Chritsmas lights. The picture of the ISO 400 looks brighter than the ISO 50 one, but it looks a little blurry because of the way that the camera pulls in the light. Now the last picture that I took was the ISO 5000 which made a big difference in everything. The lights in the background look a lot more exciting than they do in the flash one and you can see Misty a lot better than you do in the first two ISO pictures even though the picture looks a little blurry.
